that makes too much sense. i figured it was something easy like that

do you have to modify the shock to use the push link? Isnt the mount hole on the stock like horizontal, where this one is vertical?

so will you actually keep this for a while or will it be gone in a few months like the last 3 bikes?

noticed your question about the shock in the quick question thread. you should be fine because you are lowering the stroke (travel of the shock) the same amount as you are lowering the i2i (length of the shock) a 14.55" bb is high to begin with so lowering that by .75in will give you a 13.8in bb hight. that will corner much better, a lot of bikes have similar heights so i wouldn't worry about hitting pedals. What I would worry about is you may mess up the way your suspension handles. DW link is designed to work best when the bike is sagged a certain amount into the travel because the axle path of the bike varies throughout the suspension travel. with the shorter shock your frame may sag beyond the engineered "sag point" (25-35% of the 7in), making the suspension handle weird under pedaling forces (bobbing). If you go through with it let me know how it works out.

It took FOREVER because IH actually put a great paint job on. It was so thick but once it was all rawed it took like half a pound off! I got paint thinner and applied it onto the frame and scraped it off for a couple of layers. Then I power sanded the frame to get the paint off the main tubes. But for the details I used paint thinner and a scrapper and some sand paper. Took a while but its worth it.

they are damn strong for their weight, but they will not take the same kind of abuse as a proper DH rim like a Mavic EX721 / EX729 rim

some DH racers use a set of wheels built with ZTR Flow rims as "race day wheels" and then heavier wheels for training and practise runs

for all-mountain and light freeriding, the ZTR Flows are a great choice, unless you are a complete hack and crash constantly!
